We'll our sled clearances came back- all clear! David and I bought a boat. We spent some days out on the Inlet and river. Had a great time! We are now preparing for our social worker to contact us for our "first" official Homestudy!

SLED & DSS Background mail off!

Well David and I have got almost 75% of the forms filled out. Asked my references to send out there letters, and now waiting for our social worker to come back from vacation, to start our homestudy. Today is the first day in a week that it hasn't rained. So the landscaper is here mowing the grass. So I guess today would be a good day to take the pictures of our house. Well atleast the outside. Still have to set up nursery to take a pic of that. Nothing else for now. Just everyday is different. One day we are in a rhythm, and the next we are second guessing our self's. So everyday our moods are different, and this journey is going to be a leap of faith!

Let the paper work ambush begin!

Well we received a call from our home study agent. She has sent us a packet of forms to fill out. Most need to be notarized, so here are the following forms so far that we are in the process of completing:

1. A D.S.S. form

A SLED background check and clearences

1. Personal background info for the both of us
2. 3 names and address and phone #s with 3 reference Letters ( non- family)
3. Complete medical forms filled out
   
4. List of all previous address
5. 6-8 pictures of our house and family
6. Financial statement
7. Copys of Birth records, marriage certificate, and tax returns

So we are getting started and are setting up a date to meet with the social work to start the home study. On top off all of the paper work, am going to get my lip checked out! Its has been going numb for a month now, kinda scared. Dont really want to know whats causing it, but David is making me go :(
