Just a little update!

1999 2008
So, just a quick update:
David's Staph, cleared up!
Waiting to hear, that all documents are A-OK!
Had dinner at F.I.L.'s tonight, said good bye to Davids Grandmother. Shes Leaving to go back to NJ. We sat around and looked at pictures. It's so fun looking and pictures from back in the day. SO funny in fact my Father in Law, had a picture of David and I just one month after we started dating. in 1999. We just couldn't believe it! ( I know some of you are like OMG! 1999, you two look like kids) Yes we were, David was 20, and I was 17. This November we will be together 9 years. Sounds really long to us, but it really has just gone by so fast. Maybe tooo fast! So I thought I would share it, maybe do a past and present.


Here's to 1999, when gas was cheaper, when we just worked to have fun, and lesson's learned. To look back and think all that we have been through.........I hope the next 10 years take it easy on these ol' hearts!

Finished: Document Round 1 Complete!

So I finished our last set of Dossier documents. Dont think that its the end. I'm sure more will pop up. But at least there is an end for now. David and I have our fingerprinting for immigration on the 18th. And thats all the news we have for now. Waiting for our FBI clearances to come back. David has another Staph infection. So I hope it clears up soon. And doesn't become full blown!

Shout out to Carl and Matt! Congrats on your adoption with Nick being finalized. I hope your journey back to the U.S.A. is a smooth one!

Struck Gold in the Mail!

Yesterday we received 4 positive pieces of mail.
1. A letter from DSS, that they accepted our adenment of our godparents selection.
2. Our UCIS Appointment for our fingerprints....again
3. Half of our Apostilled documents, the other half im waiting to send out when we get our medical reports done.
4. A letter from our mortgage Company, stating the status of our account.

So thats our good news for the forth. I hope everyone has a safe holiday. Be careful with those fireworks!

First set!

Today I sent out my first 27 documents that had to be apostilled by South Carolina's Secretary of state. Yay! We sent off our FBI clearances and I'am going tomorrow to pick up a letter my mortgage company wrote for us about our loan status. Still have medical reports to do and get his medical license, and I think thats it for now. We shall see!
